Wang Yi highlighted the resumption of exchanges and cooperation across various sectors, following a series of high-level engagements between the two countries. He underscored the significance of maintaining dialogue, expanding practical cooperation, and upholding multilateralism, particularly in light of the growing uncertainties on the global stage. On the other side, UK Foreign Secretary Yvette Cooper reiterated Britain’s commitment to preserving stable and constructive relations with China. Cooper also reaffirmed the UK’s longstanding stance on the Taiwan issue, advocating for continued engagement with China while addressing differences through dialogue.
